JT-D6201 Waterborne UV Primer A) Product Profile JT-D6201 UV Primer is made from styrene-acrylate emulsion, no wax included, non-flammable and environment friendly.It can not only improve leveling of UVtop varnish, but also help to improve adhesion and gloss. It is widely used for different types of paper as primer for UV varnish. It meets the Toy Security and Health Standard , and has been certificated by SGS for heavy metal contents. B)Specification 1.Appearance :milky thin liquid . 2.Viscosity:15-40 seconds (paint -4 #cup ,25°c). 3.PH value : 6.5-8.5 C)Usage recommendation 1.It is suggested to use directly without dilution. Adding water can get cost down but also brings problem like slow drying ,lower gloss ,worse leveling performance or weak adhesion for UV top varnish .So add water as little as possible. 2.The temperature of IR should be controlled within 90-110 °c. 3.The primer coater and UV top varnish coater can be operated connectedly or separately. D)Notice 1.For paper coated with UV varnish , even the surface seems already dried,ink on the bottom is possible not dried completely and water based primer is also in drying .So it is better to test adhesion one night after UV varnish is coated. 2.This product should be stored in shady, cool and dry places ,where the temperature is better to keep nolower than 5°c. 3.Shelf life is 6 months for this product. Use up during its shelf life. 4.All the data above are acquired in the laboratory. They can only be used as reference in practical application. Because the paper, printing ink and process are different, the data can be different. Customer needs to test before put into use and decide the applicability for himself.
